The wall is the most ideal area to start a new decorated theme or idea. It greatly affects the interior design of any home, commercial space and business establishment. Interior design has become a popular trend among homeowners who maintain a social status and to fascinate those who visit them. The idea of having a sophisticated and eye-catching home is a common thing among various wealthy people especially celebrities. If you try to get inside their mansion, you will see hundreds of modern wall artwork and music wall decor. This is an age-old question that most homeowners ask themselves when it comes to build or renovate a home. Which is better: solid wood or carpet flooring?

There are a lot of people who don’t care about the Pros and Cons for both. They just like hard wood or they just like carpet and are not willing to waste their preference with this decision for anything. Unfortunately, they have their minds already made up to like either one of them.

However, if you are considering options and can’t decide which is better or which is going to add more value to your home then you must weigh the pros and cons of both the options. 

Carpeting your Home- Pros:

Climate:

Installing carpets will allow your empty space to warm up for those who prefer to walk around their home barefoot. On hardwood floors it is much cooler on the feet and can increase your warmth in winter.

Noise:

With rooms with carpeted floors, you will see that the noise is suppressed quite a lot. If you see that you have a multilevel home, you will know that hardwood floors at the top level will create a certain amount of noise to be heard at the lower level.

Options:

When shopping for carpets you may have an endless number of options in your home while shopping for hardwood floors may be pretty limited. Hard wood floors have far fewer options as compared to carpets. however paintings looks beautiful on both 

Furniture durability:

This is probably the biggest pro for those who do not like to constantly rearrange furniture. With the help of carpet, you will see that you will keep the furniture much better than laying them down on the wooden floor. Although it is much more difficult to remove your furniture within the carpeted area.

Stains:

Speaking to various pet owners around the world, you already know this aspect of having carpets around your house too well. Carpets can stain and it can be impossible to remove those stains. Now, most stains can be removed by steam machines and cleaning services that you can rent it for your own home but there are exceptions to each rule. That one stain that you want get rid of using a number of products or whatever you try to remove with it, just wants to stick around and never tends to leave the carpet.

Harsh Chemicals:

Now, before I do anything else I realize harshness can be a tough word. Nowadays more and more people look to all-natural sources to use in their households. The chemicals used in carpets are not all natural. Are the chemicals used to clean your carpet harsh on its surfaces! The answer is probably, yes. If you want to reduce the use of chemicals in your home, going with solid wooden flooring may be a better option.
